The admissions team guides each client through every step, gathers the necessary clinical and demographic information, and answers questions as they come up. When it comes to paying for treatment, the team works directly with insurance providers — in-network or out-of-network — so clients understand their coverage and get the most from their program benefits.

Treatment Begins With a Call

The admissions process at Clearview Outpatient starts with a single phone call. During that call, the admissions team collects the essential clinical and demographic information needed to begin the assessment.

After reviewing the information, the team determines whether Clearview Outpatient’s programs are the right fit. When admission isn’t the right match, the team explains the decision clearly and offers recommendations for alternative treatment, so every person leaves the conversation with a path forward.

For clients currently in another treatment facility or recently hospitalized, the team may request specific records for clinical review, such as:

Admissions Eligibility

Clearview Outpatient prioritizes clients who can benefit from its evidence-based, structured outpatient programming. To support strong outcomes, clients must be medically and psychiatrically stable and willing to participate in treatment voluntarily.

If you or your loved one meets this criteria, reach out to talk through the best treatment options.

Insurance + Payment Options

Paying for treatment shouldn’t stand in the way of getting help. Clearview Outpatient works with multiple major insurance providers on both in-network and out-of-network basis, and offers a private pay option for clients who prefer to handle costs directly.

The admissions team provides benefit verification to outline each client’s financial responsibility based on their plan. Because coverage varies by provider and policy, the clearest picture comes from a quick conversation. To see payment options for a specific program, explore the individual outpatient locations.

Clearview Outpatient is a TriWest network provider and participates in the VA Community Care Network, supporting access to care for veterans. Medicare and Medicaid are not accepted.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about admissions at Clearview Outpatient

Clearview Outpatient treats adults living with complex and co-occurring mental health conditions, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline and other personality disorders, mood disorders, PTSD and trauma, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

The team also treats co-occurring conditions, including dual diagnosis and co-occurring autism spectrum disorder. Treatment is individualized to each client’s diagnosis and history and delivered through structured PHP and IOP programming.

The admissions process begins with a single phone call. During that call, the admissions team gathers essential clinical and demographic information and begins an assessment to determine the right level of care. The team also verifies insurance benefits, often on the same call, so treatment can begin shortly after the initial assessment.

To begin the assessment, the admissions team collects basic clinical and demographic information. For clients currently in another treatment program or recently hospitalized, the team may also request records such as a recent psychiatric evaluation, a history and physical exam, a psychosocial history, clinical notes, and a current medication list with dosages. Having these on hand can help the process move more quickly.

Clearview Outpatient treats adults ages 18 and older who are medically and psychiatrically stable and able to participate in treatment voluntarily. Clients are typically a good fit when they are ambulatory, able to self-administer medication with staff supervision, and capable of self-preservation in an emergency. The programs are designed for clients who need structured outpatient support rather than 24-hour nursing or inpatient care.
